Infrastructure & utility surveys
Accurate spatial information before, during and after infrastructure and utility projects.
Overview
Infrastructure requires accurate spatial information before, during and after implementation. Whether a project is laying a pipeline, running a power line, widening a road or building a treatment works, the survey work that supports it has to keep pace with construction rather than trail behind it.
We support infrastructure and utility projects through surveys for
- Roads and civil works
- Water and sewerage infrastructure
- Electrical installations
- Utility corridors
- Construction alignment
- Infrastructure setting out
Typical approach
We establish dependable spatial control along the corridor or site early, so every subsequent stage of the works can be tied back to the same reference. Alignment, levels and clearances are checked against design before construction proceeds, and utility positions are recorded as they go in so the as-built record reflects what was actually installed, not just what was designed.
What a client receives
Our role is to establish dependable spatial control and site information that supports efficient project implementation: control and alignment data for the design and construction teams, setting-out records, and an as-built record suitable for handover and future maintenance.
