Our story
Samtec Geomatics was set up to bring a licensed survey team's discipline to work that too often gets treated as a formality boundary lines that end up disputed, setting-out that drifts off the drawing, GIS handovers that arrive as a picture instead of usable data. We measure once, measure correctly, and produce a record that holds up when it is checked: by an engineer, by the Land Registry, or by the other side's own surveyor.
Every job runs through the same discipline regardless of size: control established from a known datum, redundant observations where the stakes justify it, and a deliverable a plan, a report, a GIS layer built to the standard our profession and the Land Registry both expect, not just to the standard that happens to satisfy a client in a hurry.
We work across cadastral and land surveys, topographical and engineering surveys, infrastructure and utility surveys, hydrographic and mineral exploration surveys, geology and GIS, and legal, land-dispute and due-diligence support and we hire out and train on the equipment behind all of it. Based in Nairobi, we take on work across Kenya and the wider East and Central Africa region.
